The first thing you should know about me is that I am unapologetic and a lover of all things Black because that’s who I am. All the way down to the literal, cultural, and figurative: the color, the food, the culture, the experience, the energy, everything!

Because I love Blackness so much, I strive for transparency and authenticity in my literary work, capturing the Black teenage experience and the Black new adult experience without sensationalizing racism and anti-black oppression. You can expect my characters to share their experiences in a raw, uncensored way.
